At one place,
instead of investing in people,
they kept putting money into
new equipment,
one after another.
As a result,
the staff’s motivation was low.
At another place,
the team seemed to fall apart
as if it were cursed.
And at another place,
the foundation of the family
business was strong,
and the business was continuing
to grow.
One thing I found interesting
about working with people
over there
was how they could simply
“not let things bother them.”
As I wrote before,
today is today,
and tomorrow is tomorrow.
That ability to draw a line
and move on
is not something that comes
easily.
At least,
not for me.
