At first,
the café was open
five days a week.
But it took quite a toll
on my body,
and in the latter half
of the first year,
I ended up having to close
temporarily
quite often.
So I reduced the number
of business days
to four days a week.
Through the café,
so many different people
have come to visit.
Until then,
I had always been the one
moving from place to place.
But now,
this café had become a place
where I was surrounded
by such wonderfully unique
customers.
There are just so many
interesting people.
They are people
I definitely would never
have met
if I had not opened
this café.
One thing these customers
seem to have in common
is that they follow
what they love
with such pure,
honest passion.
They don’t compare
themselves with others.
They simply talk about
what they love
with so much joy.
And listening to them
makes me happy too.
